That would be cool I'd really like to hear the difference between the two.

Thanks! The Treadplate 4x12 cab sim is a model of Mesa's Recto cab with V30s. It just says Treadplate on the Toneport, and that's what I used. For FX, I used the digital delay with the treble turned down and tempo set for the song. I used the medium room reverb with a long delay. That's it.pjrake said:hal9000 said:I used the Mesa Treadplate 4x12 with V30 cab sim and an on-axis SM-57 with 50% room. You should get similar results with your setup.
dude, that sounded awesome! i found this post from someone who suggested a hotplate... and i actually have the toneport UX2 !!! (can't wait to get the hotplate now!!!)
i looked at the gearbox for the cab but found only the 4x12 2001 treadplate but no v30 cab sim. is that the same one you're using. the only v30 i found was the 4x12 1996 brit celest v-30's.
in your audio clip, what line6 effects are you using?
man, thanks for the inspiration; your clip sounds awesome. as soon as my hotplate comes in i'll record some stuff with my dual rectifier!!!
