How are you guys running your Stilettos? I have a Deuce II, and I really like it. Not looking for individual knob settings jut overall channel settings.

I run channel 1 in Crunch - and I can back it off reasonably clean with the volume on my guitar. I don't use a dedicated clean sound often enough to warrant it's own channel. Although, I could prob run it fully clean & punch it for a crunchy sound with my boost... see below.

I run Channel 2 on Tite Gain - Gain at about 2 o'clock.

I have a Creation Audio Lab MK 4.23 Boost that is super clean that I can punch either channel with to get 'more'.

So far, this is working pretty good! But, I'm always learning - and I'm a Stiletto newbie, so I'd like to know how you guys run them.

Channel 1 Crunch is the one I use the most. Bold and Diodes.
Channel 2, like you is set on Tight Gain. Bold and tube rectifiers.
100 watts for both.
I like to add a touch of delay. I use and Expandora overdrive to fatten up my leads.
There's lots of ways to go with this amp. 8)

Channel 1 Fat mode, channel 2 fluid drive, gain @ 2:30. I play rock/hard rock with a dash of metal. An EQ is useful for the more modern sounds for that mid scoop (yep, I turn it into a Recto when I need to). Just out of curiosity, why do you ask? What type of music are you playing?

No real reason. Just finding lots of possibilities for only a two channel amp. My band plays rock, mostly original music. We throw a few covers in there, like "State Of Love & Trust" by Pearl Jam, off the singles soundtrack. That's a good representation of the music we play. Not too heavy. Some songs are mellower, some are more aggressive.

None of the songs we play have any clean parts. So, I don't have a need for a dedicated super clean sound, even though the amp will do nice cleans.

I just like seeing what everyone else is doing. Maybe someone is running the amp in an unconventional, but cool way.

I've been debating going with an RJM Amp Gizmo and allow my Line 6 M9 switch channels for me. I have it setup as 6 individual fx for now. I also bought a replacement footswitch from Switch Doctor, just to save real estate on my board. The Mesa Stiletto footswitch is pretty huge for only having two buttons.

I'm using channel 1 Crunch mode with the gain dialed back for my cleans.

Channel 2 Tite Gain with the gain around 2, and a slight boost from my processor.

I run it BOLD

clean channel: Fat clean/Diode with very low gain. I like to keep the clean as clean as possible

Distorted channel: Fluid/Tube with gain 9 o'clock.

I run mine Spongy most of the time:

Channnel 1: FAT Clean, gain at about 1:00, diode rect. If I pick hard I can get a bit of hair. I have a OD-808 (set for mild OD) and a Rust Driver I kick in to get some really cool rock tones on top of the FAT clean.

Channel 2: TIGHT Gain, gain at about 1:00, tube rect. I like this channel for heavier rhythm and lead playing with the solo kicked in.

Play mostly 70s - 80s rock
