Hey guys.

I'm looking to purchase a decent 1x12" cab strictly for home use. It doesen't have to be great, just something for the home, when I feel the urge to play or work on tones or songs - nothing too serious.

Most of all - it has to be CHEAP. I'm only looking to spend at the most $150 - I know, I would love a theile cab too, but I don't think I could swing $300+ for something im only gonna use 1-3x a week for an hr at the most.

If anyone has any recommendations, let me know!

BTW: I used the Mark IV at my Rage band's gig last night. All night I got raves from the older guys saying how great the tone was, and how they're kicking themselves now because they all used to have Mark IV's too and sold it foolishly. They all told me to make sure I keep this amp, I said I def will :D

The Mark IV literally is the best amp I've ever played - so versatile - by setting the amp a certain way, I was able to NAIL Tom Morello's crunchy, but not too dirty, 'clean' distortion. I cannot believe more people aren't playing these things. :?:

Lopo and Avatar make good cheap 1x12s.

http://www.lopoline.com/home.html About $125-150. You supply the speaker though.

http://avatarspeakers.com/ About $200-230

Ebay is your friend.

I have some of those Lopo cabinets, so I can swap different speakers for recording. Very nice cabinets. The grill is velcro'ed on, so you can remove it easily if you ever want to mic it. Good stuff!

The Rocktron Velocity S112 is a decent 1x12 cab, it's ported, and has really good response. It's $140 at MF
