MArk III Green stripe serial # question.

I have a Mark III that i am looking to put up for sale, its from the mid eighties as far as I know, I bought from the original owner in 1995. I wanted to know how i can get a better ida of the build date, is the serial number tell me anything? I know there are signatures all around the chassis but, if anyone can give me some advice. thank you.

The chassis will have dates written in sharpie. I don’t believe the serial tells much for the date.

Yep, my Green stripe is an 89' as well
