Can I use my Lead/Rhythm switch as a Rhythm II switch?

If I plug my Lead/Rhythm foot switch into the Rhythm II jack, will it work as a Rhythm switch? Is there a difference between the two switches, i.e. Lead/Rhythm and Rhythm II?

No, there shouldn't be. Both are standard latching tip-to-ground switches. What amp do you have?

I guess it would help to answer the question if you knew what kind of amp I have... sorry about that folks.
