boogie files literature is this a mistake ?

This is not a mistake on models with a five band eq/reverb the dual footswitch works these 2 functions however on non reverb models( i have a 2a short head with graphic and no verb)it will kick in the gain boost function instead.

Actually i,ve noticed that your question refers to the model without a graphic eq so i take it that these kick in the gain boost as well with a dual footswitch. All the mark series amps 1 up to 3 came as a basic 60 watt model any other power output ie 60/100 or simulclass came at an extra cost likewise reverb and graphic eq,s were extras that bumped up the price if you wanted them installed.
