Best mesa cab for shredder type metal?

I have only played the rectifier cab and it sounded pretty nice but im interested in the stiletto cab to ,but yet to come across someone i know with one

Comparisons on both?
advantages and disadvantages of both?

i got mine road ready and a bottom cab for 450. I wouldn't go over 500.

What amp are you going to be using?

I'm a big fan of the Stiletto cab. Much tighter sounding than the oversize recto cab. The halfbacks sound great with EV's on the bottom but they are just too **** heavy for me. My buddy had one and I HATED moving that cab into the band truck!

so you guys would agree apon the halfback haveing the best sound?

Then get a halfback or a stiletto cab and put four EV 12Ls in there. JimAnsell can tell you about that.

Closed back is tighter and punchier, open backs lose some bass through the back side. Stilleto cab is smaller and tighter. Recto cab is bigger, deeper, and has looser bass.

W/e you do though, I would highly suggest EV speakers though.
