I know this is subjective, but I am finding that my Les Paul Deluxe sounds great with my F-30 w/EL84's but that my strat w/Seymour Duncan pickups sound better in my LSC w/6L6's. Is the Lonestar just more strat friendly? I love the way it sounds, though the Paul through the F-30 is so in your face.

Yes, have both and the LSC loves Strats. Plug your Paul in the LSC, set your presence to 2:00 treb 3:00, mid's 11:00, gain 4:00, drive 2:30 on thick,
bass 9:00, and rail at a moderate volume. Let me know what you think![/i]

Thanks, it's almost 12 here and the girls are asleep. I will try those settings out tomorrow and let you know.

Thanks Fishy....those settings rock!! The Paul does have a sweet spot in the Lonestar. A little hard to tame, but slam..right in your gut, just the way a Les Paul is supposed to hit you. Many thanks for the recommendations.

Yeah I hope to have killer tweed blues tones with 6V6s in the LSC with the PRS Hollowbody I w/ humbuckers.

Send'er on Mesa!

One of the key elements here is the bass at 9. 6L6s with a bucker can give you overpowering bass with a Boogie. Too many people turn the bass up ...

Very cool, thanks. The tone/gain controls on the Mesa's are so much more interactive than any other amp I have had in the past. Each effects the other and it truely takes time to dial in that tone. Once located, be it humbucker or single coil, it sounds amazing!
