Bassist looking for new bass amp

We are a mix of taking back sunday and my chemical romance and my bassist is looking for a new amp. Up until now, hes been useing his little Fender Rumble 60 watt. Do you guys have any opinion on a good amp for him. He was looking at the 400+, what's your opinion on that amp?

i love mine - 5 or 6 years now...killer tones..i have the powerhouse 2/10 and 1/15 cabs.

i drove 6 hours round trip to get it..way worth it

umm...prefer my 400+

If he can road test a 400+ and a MPulse600 side by side,
that would be the way to go. They each are great amps
in their own way. Of course the 400+ is much heavier,
but has the all tube girth so many love and crave.
I have a MPulse Venture and am very happy with that.
