Avatar Speaker Cabinets

What's everyone's opinion of these? I looking into the 2X12 Contemporary. It's width and depth are a good match for my Recto 4X12 Slant. I already have 2 Mesa V30's, so I need an empty cab.

Man this is weird. Tonight I just dropped two V30's in my Avatar 2x12 ( I bought it from the closeout section with two T100's) and I must say it is very very nice I must say. I use an open back 2X12 and it kind of reminds me of the Fender Showman cabs. I prefer an open back for where I play, and I can get some "thump" if I need, so I can't comment on the closed back, but I would bet it would sound just as good.
Oh forgot, I play with a Dual Recto. For the price they cant be beat!

The 2x12 closed-back traditional with V30s I had sounded great. Too bad I had to sell it to cover other costs.

Sorry don't have any experience with Avatar, but you may also want to look into Lopoline. They will custom build anything you want. I have an oversized 1X12 closed and it sounds amazing.

Great cabs.

Had 2 cabs at one point, 1 Mesa 2x12 3/4 tuned and 1 Avatar 2 x 12 detuned. They both sounded very good, the Avatar was ever so slightly brighter. I sold the Mesa and kept the Avatar. I did not need both, so one had to go, I got more money for the Mesa because of the name.

If ever I need another cab, I will not hesitate to go Avatar.

I'm running my Triaxis and Fifty/Fifty into an Avatar 4x12 with a mix of V30s and G12Hs and I am very happy with it. They're very reasonably priced and you can get them in custom colors, so what's not to like. The only minor quibble I had with it is that it doesn't come with casters, but you can throw a set of TracLocs on there and be good to go.
