using a maxon OD-808 with a true bypass mod as well as a quick connect for the chip and I've got all 4 chips that the TS used back til '79. all chips are NOS Forgot who modded it but dude is definitely a genius in his own right.. Each of the chips handles mids differently which is nice to toy with for some pretty wicked scoops...
 
I am using a stock Ibanez TS9. It does exactly what I want it to do, so I don't really see a point in getting it modded.

It doesen't have the led ov chaos though :lol: (sorry guys, ss.org humor)
 
I use a Visual Sound Route 66 in the front of my chain which has a TS808 like overdrive behind a ross type compressor. I like it but I mainly use as a signal boost; rarely for the overdrive. I like the TS808 midrange but my band mate already has a very midrangy sound. I like the Route 66 version of the TS808 rather than the reissue, plus it has compression and line boost included in the single pedal. Someday I'd love to compare a Keeley modded TS808 to the Route 66.
