Are the knobs and switches on the Roadster and Road King recessed enough as to allow placing the unit in a road case, without having to worry about the case disturbing the settings on the amp??

This question applies to both the combo and the head. I am more interestd in the combos right now, but I would go with the head version if the knobs and switches were recessed far enough to keep my settings safe from being disturbed while in the case.

The knobs are recessed plenty.

The problem I found is that there is a design flaw in the head in that you can't remove the kettle lead when putting in the case because it is connected behind the grill at the rear. So when you are sizing a case make sure you allow for the plug as well. Probably not much of a problem anywhere else but we've got big *** 3-pin plugs here in Ireland and the UK
