Just like the topic says.

And would it hurt to run my IIC+ simul with only the two class A/B tubes?

thanks
Tony

Back from the oil rig again ?

It's good to see you.

I would keep a set of 6L6's in the middle just to be safe. It's only running the heater voltage, but i just think it's cheap insurance especially if you accidentally hit the simul class switch with no tubes or if for some reason the Simul switch goes dead ( Have seen it), you would have no impedence on the 6L6 primary.

Back and off again and again...........
Our working schedual is two weeks at the rig offshore, and four weeks off, pretty conveniant for a musician.

Anyway, do you know if all mark IV's are simul class amps?

Thanks
Tony

Wouldn't it be great if you guys could put up wind turbines out on those rigs? Yes all MkIV's are simulclass and general concensus, at least on this forum is that you probably should not remove the Class A tubes for risk of possible output tranny damage.

the IV's aren't like the III's and II's. being made by the modern mesa vs. the one back in the 80s which was basically a custom shop, they aren't made with options. so they all have eq, reverb, and simul-class
