Hi just looking for some opinions on eq's with lonestar,
Thinking about getting one, looking at the 6 band mxr eq pedal.
P.S. Never used an eq before so dont know how much of an effect they have or if you sacrifice some of the lonestars gorgeous tones?
Any opinions greatfully recieved :)

Hi,
I am not using an eq pedal, but i have got an Xotic RC boost pedal. I use the active treble and bass, in conjunction with the mid boost pre amp on my guitar, and I can shape the sound how I want. It is ultra transparent and also gives me the function of the boost which really pushes the front end.

Not exactly what you asked, but might be worth a try?

Well" if it ain't broke don't fix it" as the saying goes :)

I prob should of explained a bit better, I can get some sounds im really happy with but they seem to blur up a bit at high volumes, was wondering if an eq would help? Ive done reeder mod #2 and have a great little booster which actually filters out the bass instead of boosting the treble but still not 100% where I wanna be, Maybe its the room (bit on the small side)?
