Anyone tried the RK cab w/Solo heads?

Dual Cabinet Design,
Left-open back & Right-closed back
Left side = 2-C90 speakers
Right side = 2-V30 speakers
320 Watts (combined)
8ohm Mono / 4ohm Stereo
Casters

I want to start getting my head into a new cab one day, just wondering if anyones tried this mix. Seems to me if its good enough for the RK it should do good with the Solo heads also...

thanks
David.

I don't have a solo head anymore but I have a Roadking 2x12 and 4x12 and I use them with all my amps, love them.

Here's a slower tempo easy listening Uberschall clip through a Roadking 2x12:

And a heavier clip (Roadking 2x12 again):

Thanks I used a Bad Monkey to boost it for a little extra edge :)

Nice clips, your a clean player, nicely done man.

So the RKcab with c-90's holds the ubers bass okay? It sounded great on your clips, I just wanted to know about your experimenting sessions as well. I keep reading that they are a good speaker for bass/depth, and I cant try one out cause only God knows what volumes I am taking this speaker too, the store manager would shoot me!

Thanks, the Roadking cabs can handle my Uberschall with ease, even the 2x12 :)

The C90 is more even sounding and doesn't have the mid hump/crunch of the V30. The C90 can handle alot of bass don't worry about that :), and it mixes very well with the V30 IMO.

I should also mention the Roadking cabs sound killer with my Mark IV head as well

Here's a pic of the back of my Roadking 4x12, I took off the 3/4 back and fully sealed it to see how different it would sound.

That divider splits the interior airspace which makes the cab sound different than a regular 4x12, it's a nice alternative design to have IMO :)
