anyone here swapped out a celestion v50 or c90 with a evm12L

i'm looking to replace the vintage 50 in my 80's 2 x 12 with a evm 12L

will i run into any problems? like will the screw hole's line up?
i did a search and read that at least 1 inch screws should be used.

The holes will line up, and the longer screws are for the thicker basket frame of the EV.

I don't think it's ultimately necessary but I'd consider using 8 mounting points (screws/bolts/whatever) instead of the 4 that most speakers will use.
