See subject line, I guess. I'm really starting to like boosting R2, and the tap dancing is getting out of hand.

The stupid thing is I use almost no effects, so I don't need a Ground Control Pro/GCX-- I only want to control channel switching and the EQ on the Mark III, plus one boost pedal.

Anybody got any experience...?

Back when I did it, I used a Scholz Midi Octopus to switch the MK III. The Lead channel is switchable just by plugging a cord from the switching jack on the amp directly to the Octopus. The R1/R2 is a little trickier,as it's a grounding switch, and will hum due to a ground loop if you go directly from the R1/R2 jack to the Octopus. This required a Scholz External Effects Loop, to plug into the Octopus.

I'm sure there's something newer that can do this easaier.
