I was wondering if there were anyone still using the big road ready bass cabs.

I have a buddy that has a power house 1000 that he bought new last feb (07) and has never taken it out of his house just because of size.

All I use is the Road Ready cabs. I love them!! I use either 2 4x10's or a 4x10 and a 1x15. I also just ordered a 2x12 cab today.

I bought a 6x10 R/R cab when I bought my mpulse 600
Its a freaking heavyweight monster.
I can't imagine an 8x10.
I have an old 2x10 diesel, it nice for small gigs, but it doesn't compare to the 6x10's overall tone.
As long as I have some help loading it, I'll take the 6x10 to every gig.

I have 2 RR 2x15's & 2 RR 2x10's (black metal grilles on all) ....

They are a 2 man job moving just one of the 2x15's around (but the sound is very much worth the bruises--!)

The Road Ready cabs are virtually "bulletproof"!
