Any reason not to crank the loop volume all the way up?

I just switched to the Digitech Hardwire Delay and Chorus pedals, which have higher voltage capacity than most other pedals, so if damaging them or making the signal clip is out of the question is there any reason not to max out the loop volume?

Why not? But the tube will burn hotter thus wearing out faster. And it will cut into your clean headroom.

I have just started doing this. I have an Eventide Timefactor in the loop. No problems with clipping and seems to add a bit of brightnees and life to channel 2.
