I cannot believe this....after 3 years and 400.00 spent on one problem with my roadking one...The plastic jacks KEEP FALLING APART!

I ordered some jacks 2 weeks ago through Mesa...I got these plastic jacks for the Loop 2 and the 4 ohm output speaker jacks. I send the amp out to my repair guy and all is fine.

the very next day (just now) Im putting my rig back together and now LOOP 1 return jack has basically fallen off at the nut! I barely touched the cable to the jack and the thing just fell off.

This is the 6th jack in the Roadking to disintegrate... What is the problem with the Roadking's jacks? I notice some are made of steel but most are plastic!

I have contacted Mesa via email and I am sending the head in for a warranty repair since I have already spent enough money on this amp. I paid 3000.00 for the head and a rectifier cab and I am not a happy Boogie boy right now. :x

sorry to hear that konstantine... why weren't the other repairs paid for under the warranty? Alos have you considered telling your tech to just put metal ones? I had the same issue with a Roland JC-120. Replaced the cheesy plastic jacks for some sturdy metal ones and never had that problem again.

Well I am sending it in to Mesa...they called me quick and told me the warranty is still in effect....I will include a hand written note asking for metal jacks...if they can do that.

It is very frustrating since I waited for a weel for the last repair! But I think Mesa will take care of it.

So it came back that the jacks were being bent and cracked because of the cables...Now I have to put some of those cable wraps around the bar in the back to hang them instead of just plugging them in
