I picked this up a few weeks ago and just got it back from service at Mesa. It's a 1976 Mark I that started its life as an HRG. At some point in the mid eighties Mike at Mesa did a Simul-class power section upgrade. The transformer is from 1985. I wouldn't be surprised if there were other Simul-class Mark Is, but this is the only one I've been able to find. On top of that fun weirdness, it's also only two numbers off of Keith Richard's famous A804 Mark I from early '77. Fun stuff! I wanted to get some shots before I get it all put back together. I'm stoked to see hear what Mike has done with it and will fire it up at some point this week.
