Hey everyone. I just got a Mesa .50 Caliber, and upon plugging it in to try it out I noticed it was extremely hot, and then noticed that all 4 EL84's had red plate glow. The tubes (JJ EL84s) look fine and aren't hot until I turn it off standby. Also, I'm using a homemade dummy load (which is just an 8 Ohm, 200w non-inductive dummy load resistor wired up to an input jack). Any idea what the problem may be? Did I screw up my dummy load? Is the amp incorrectly biased for JJ's? Is something internal in the amp broken?

Thanks in advance for any help!

EDIT: Just realized I put this in the wrong section, should be in the Dual Caliber section.
