First post so hello everyone.

I have just taken delivery of a new (to me) 50/50, the seller had removed the op valves and packaged them separately but unfortunately
one got smashed in transit.

Anyway I'd really like to give it a go tonight, I only want to use it in mono anyway so it has been suggested on another forum
that i can just put 2 valves in place for one channel and set the volume and presence to 0 on the other channel. So my question is,
looking from the back of the amp, which valve positions correspond to which channel?

Seems hard to find, it's a quite often asked question.

I've spoken with the "Techs" at Mesa In Ca. and THEY don't Recommend that!!
I was having a problem with my Tubes and was gonna do the same with my 50/50 and they informed me that some of the Output Voltages still go through those sockets.... if the tubes are removed there is no place for the Voltages to go except back in to the Transformer.....
Which they informed me.... if prolonged reverse type voltages continue.... would not be healthy for the Power Amp.....

just a thought.....

50/50 Power Amp
and an assortment
of other Digital Effects...

For a mono use you can also remove the PI of the unused channel.
