5:25 6V6's/6A5Q's

Any mad scientist types who have tried a pin adapter to be able to use these two tubes? Since they're so similar in specs to the EL84 I can't imagine too much havoc being wrought on the amp. Then again, I don't know much about circuitry.

I'd realy like to experiment with 6V6 tubes, but I don't think I'd be bothered trying them with the Express.

You would probably have to add a bias kit as well as the pin adapter to get the operating point correct. After that, I am not sure if the 5:25 has high enough plate voltage to get the 6V6 singing. The Dyna watt setup may not be so good with the 6V6 tubes. Dyna watt could be bypassed, but then can that little power transformer take the extra load ?
