I would imagine you could get a Simul-class Mesa set up for all EL34 type tubes.

does any company make this? I'd guess no as Mesa probably has a patent on the simul-class technology and only offers 2x6L6 + 2xEL34 or 4x6L6.

I wonder what a 4xEL34 simul power amp would sound like paired with a JMP-1 or even a Triaxis???

Try a VHT 2/50/2. It's not simul class, but it does have a Class A switch, and the tone definitely fattens up the Triaxis and JMP-1 quite nicely. Check the VHT 2/50/2 reviews on Harmony Central for a zillion comparisons.

You might double check, but I think you might be able to do this in the Mesa 395?

Suppose to be one of the best amps ever made.

Hi all,

New here,

Randall make a RT2/50.

Now it has one side 2x 6L6 the other side 2xEL34. it is also midi switching, and I believe you can have both.

So if that's right, 3 sounds, all Midi programmable.

And if that's not enough you can bias it yourself. So if you want it to run a little hotter, easy.

I have just purchased a Triaxis and really want to hear this preamp and amp together.

the 2x90 is way to loud for me.

I am selling some gear to purchase one.

I believe they retail for $899USD.

Hope that helps,

Gezza
