2nd and 3rd gain stage question

the clean is American Fenderish, but what is the second and third modeled after. Marshall etc etc? or is it just a combination of all British amps? i hear a lot of classic Marshall tones in the second and third gain stages.

i think it's more of a general hot rodded british sound with a boogie flare to it (more low end than most british amps and more thicker). it has a sound of its own.

The gain channels on the ED are kind of like a Marshall, but built for a "man"- no non effective EQs, not tinny and thin- ED has thunderous lows, and thick tight gain- definately the flavor of an "aftermarket modded Marshall".

i was thinking Marshal, but i'm still not sure, there are so many tones in that amp it isn't even funny
