i think it's more of a general hot rodded british sound with a boogie flare to it (more low end than most british amps and more thicker). it has a sound of its own.

The gain channels on the ED are kind of like a Marshall, but built for a "man"- no non effective EQs, not tinny and thin- ED has thunderous lows, and thick tight gain- definately the flavor of an "aftermarket modded Marshall".
