20/20 real output power?

I know that pretty much all Mesa units are underrated power wise.

Do you think it's safe to run a 20/20 with a stereo 2x12 recto cab with V30 ? If for some reason the amp clip because of a bad wire short or whatever ?

Is anybody here ever done a real out test ?

Two things: the speakers are probably underrated as well, and Mesa sells the markv (90 watts) combo with a v30 as an option and warranties it. So I wouldn't worry about it.

Yeah remember Mesa V30's are not 30watts they are about 60 or some were in there and likely conservatively rated. Your 20/20 would likely start clipping naturally before you really started taxing those speakers.
