A while ago I asked this question and I didn't get a definitive answer. I had my 2:90 apart for some tube rolling and I decided to post this.
When looking at the unit from the front, the rightmost tube is the input buffer tube. The middle tube is the PI for the "A" channel, the leftmost tube is the PI for the "B" channel.
My 2:90 is the old version (blue pilot light).
