2:50 + Studio Pre

Hello there!
I am wondering if anyone can help me...
I have a chance of buying 2:50 and studio pre. Do these 2 match together or there is a better way? I could get them for about 1100 Euro...

If you're referring to a mesa 50/50 with the studio pre- then yes, they go great together. I've got that as my backup rack unit, and it sounds fantastic...

I understand the 2:50 doesn't really have as nice a reputation as the 50/50. Not sure why though; never played either one myself.
