I recently purchased the subject amp, and love it. Also have a Subway Rocket. The III is slighly more powerful! I was told the III had the R2 mod which I'm familiar with, but didn't look inside the chassis b/4 purchase. When I got it open it wasn't the snip R-131, and attach to r-130 mod. It has a separate 9v power supply,connect to 3 micro relays, attached to parts of all three parts of the preamp circuit. I'm wondering if anyone has a schematic for this type mod, or otherwise knows what this approach could be. Why not just do the simple snip and sodier method. The reverb pot is now the R2 master, by the way.
