I have a Roadster with the extra 2x12 cab. I'm taking delivery of an Orange Tiny Terror & its 1x12 cab today.

What I'd like to do is use a Radial Engineering Tonebone Cab-Bone switcher to flip the Orange head between its 1x12 & the Roadster's 2x12:

My question is this:
Is it alright to run both the Roadster combo output to the 2x12 cab & the Orange Tiny Terror output also to the 2x12 cab?

I'll really only use the Roadster or Orange amps by themselves at any given time so its NOT like they'll both be pushing into the 2x12 simultaneously. But since the Roadster cab jacks are in parallel & I'm running the Orange at a given moment, would the OT of the Roadster suffer anything or vice versa if I have the Roadster running to the cab, will the Orange be hurt?

Lastly, is there any other speaker-level A/Bs like the Cabbone I should also look at as a solution?

TIA :)

if i understand right essentially u have two tube heads (roadster combo and the orange tt) with two separate cabinets but you only want to run to run the roadsters combo2x12 ?.....

i believe the cabbone only controls one head going to two separate cabinets (like if u wanted to run the roadster to your extra 1x15)... the headbone would control two heads going to one cabinet.... radial makes 3 models of the headbone so take a look at the headbone vt its made specifically for tube amps. ive looked into the headbone vt for myself and really its just a fancy a/b switch that keeps a load on the amps while your playing and while you change amps so they dont blow up due to a drastic resistance/load change

also check out the Lehle Dual SGoS thats also a cool pedal to switch between two heads prob what im gonna be leaning to :D

but im pretty sure either will do what you need, ive just never heard of someone runing a second head into a combos speakers so id just check with the companies before buying either of em just to make sure that there wont be any problems running it with a combo... im pretty sure there wont be any problems with either :D but i hope that this helps you dude let us know how u make out
