I've kinda given up on getting a simul class power amp as it's ridiculously expensive for me right now, so I'm considering something a bit smaller. I do have a chance of acquiring a said Marshall but I'm unsure which one would be better paired with my Quad. Thoughts?

I was thinking of getting a solid state power amp for my Quad. I can't afford a Mesa one right now, and as we all know, changing power tubes can be costly at times, so are there any relatively good solid state poweramps out there that will do the job without compromising the sound? Thanks

Okay something weird just happened! I turn on my quad and there's this massive feedback happening. When I turn up the output to 10, that is when it strikes, but it DIDN'T happen before. I dunno what gives. It doesn't show up if the output is set low, but I didn't have problems with output at 10...
