gotta be posts about the quad FU2 pedal??

I found a good FU-2 pedal on ebay, but it took forever for one to show up. But, in a really stupid moment, I sold my cable ( I mistakenly thought I had two ) only to find out they are as rare as it gets. Anyway, I have located the same ends that Mesa used and am going to build a replacement...

    Blue Angel rectifier question?

I've had a Blue Angel 112 combo for quite awhile now and I still love it, but one thing I never understood is the rectifier arrangement. Its got dual recs. SS & tube but no appearant switching mechanisim! How does it decide which to use? Is it just a demand issue or what? Is there a way to make...

To Andrew Mod, or Not to Andrew Mod...

My Formula Pre was supposedly from an Eve 6 tour and do not know if it's been modded or not. All I know is that I love all the tones that I get out of it. tt

What made you decide to buy a mesa boogie?

My quest for tone had alot of stops that were less than happy, but once I tried a Boogie I was hooked, and I can't stop buying them! tt

I weighed my Subway Blues at about 28 lbs. It's a simple, but still pretty kickass amp, with a half power option. tt

    Working Blue Angels?

My Blue Angel (1x12) works as well today as it did when I got it. It rocks! other than the noise from the cooling fan, which goes away when you crank it up, this amp has been rock solid. I love it. tt

    Formula Pre Questions????

There is no reverb on the formula pre, thats the only thing I don't like about it. it has the best clean sound ever! but I find the gain channels to be very Santana like with a controlable sustain that is very touch sensitive. even with single coils! very nice! tt

Which tubes to pull on a 50\50 to get half power?

It's a push-pull amp with two distinct channels, so you can't pull a tube, but you could perhaps use yellow jackets with el84's, which would cut your power in half and then using your half power switch would get you down to maybe 7 watts. tt

What preamps are you guys using........

I've got a Quad+50/50 and a formula pre+tube works 4250, they are both awsome. I especially love the formula pre it has the most variety of sounds of any preamp I've ever seen, from pristeen clean to untold distortion, awsome!! tt

    mesa 50/50 power amp serail

If you pull the cover off, sometimes the reverb tanks and such are signed by the builders and dated. tt

Fitting a Quad into a Rack

I guess mine fit tight as well, because I left space above it. I don't really remember, maybe I was just leaving some breathing room. Sorry no pic, I don't have a way to upload to this forum. tt

    Just got a Quad

I made the mistake of buying my Quad without the footswitch. I tried to run it with a Midi Matrix, but that's too complicated for me. I got a footswitch later on ebay. Now I love it! tt
