mesa 50/50 power amp serail

Hi all. Just wondering if anyone knows of a place to find serial information on a Mesa 50/50 power amp. Just trying to find out what year it was manufactured. Thanks.

If you pull the cover off, sometimes the reverb tanks and such are signed by the builders and dated. tt

Since there aren't any reverb tanks on the 50/50, you can't really go by that, but you could pull the top cover off and look for a build date on the PCBs or inside somewhere. There should be one somewhere. If nothing else, get the serial number and call Mesa. They should be able to tell you at least an approximate year.

I was thinking about preamps when I said to look at the reverb tanks, sorry, I'll try to think before typing. tt
