Update Okay my speakers are all fine, I swapped out all my tubes except the 5U4GB and the effects are the same. Sounds like a mid heavy tone, muddy. Could the 5U4GB be causing this? Thanks for reading, ~D

I just had an idea...if it is a power tube issue, switching to diodes should reinstate my lost tone, no?

My post was not accurate however, the power tubes are stock mesa's, the others are SED 6L6 =C= and the pre amps are Dougs tung sol concoction. So its the stock mesa power tubes with 140 hours on them. Im gonna order some new power tubes from Doug asap and see if that helps. Thanks!

I like all the line 6 stuff. I played the vetta and the hd147 alot before settling on tubes. Im a big fan of that ultra modern Nine inch Nails highly effected sound. My only issues was the cabs i tried. You have to go with a line 6 cab or even a mesa over sized. The Marshalls tried flubbed out...

I like the Deluxe memory man as well, and I owned a memory lain for a while which is my all time favorite. I go with the maxon ad-9 for size, its compact and amazing.

I dont know about the originals, but im told the Maxon reissues are superior to the Ibanez reissues (Japanese chipe vs chinese etc) just picked up the Maxon AD-9, im so happy with it. Im gonna get the Maxon FL-9 next.

ytse_jam what music are you playing. I hated those pickups, I was playing some Tool on a standard and at that mesa high gain it was mud and flub. The guitar I love, but I would definately swap a zebra looking seymour into the bridge if you getting heavy.
