    New Custom Mark V!

Yeah I notice that now...the Marks come with the more comfortable handle as opposed to the rectifier series.

Normally Mesa amps have the handle like this: The different handle is:

    New Custom Mark V!

I don't normally post here because I have been away from Boogie for a while...but I'm glad to be back! Specs: Hot White tolex, EL-34 tubes, black-piping, front panel modification with the Mesa Engineering logo. Also, it has the upgraded handle on top as well.

    F/S: Engl SE EL34 Version

As a result of my upcoming move, and a necessity to save space on the cross country drive, I am selling my Engl Special Edition amp head. The amp is in Mint condition. The only flaw is that it is an older model that had the painted lights instead of the LED's that the newer ones posses. The...

    VHT vs ENGL

Well first of all, I hold the SE on a golden pedestal, so take things with a grain a salt if you wish. If I were to rate the SE a 10, the triple rectifier would be a 6 at best. The SE has way more Gain than the Triple Rectifier. But it's all voiced differently. So when the gain goes up on the...

    VHT vs ENGL

I used to own a Triple Rectifier. It just wasn't the amp for me. But this amp is pretty much whatyouwant.com Did you want a comparison of the two?

    VHT vs ENGL

Dude, Michael Romeo uses Engl now. I think that's what he used on "Paradise Lost." I'm all in favor of an Engl. I own the EL34 SE E670 and I absolutely love it. If anyone wants me to record clips and post them I will. Here's a youtube video of some heavy thrash/power metal riffing...

Tube suggestions for a Triple Rec.

Hey everybody! For me, it seems to be getting to that time for a re-tube in my triple rec. and I wanted some opinions on tube options. I play Euro-Metal, in the spirit of Kamelot, Iced Earth, Pyramaze, etc. I was going to jump right onto the EL-34 train but I heard they don't last long in the TR.

To switch or not to switch...

Well I like the high gain distortion, I'm mostly a metal player, lots of chugging /galloping rhythms. I'm just wondering how the high gain of a Stilleto compares to the Recto. Or if I should just keep my Recto, and improve my FX rack. And the two amp thing, not an option for me. If I opt for a...

To switch or not to switch...

Hello all, first time poster here. I am contemplating swtiching my triple rec. for a Stiletto Trident. Reason being I like the look of the Trident (trivial I know, and least important of my inquiry), and I like the 50/150 wattage switch. I love the Recto distortion but like most, am not crazy...
