Couldn't agree more. The F-50 will do metal and everything else. The only thing it doesn't do is british rock.

There is a thing called marketing, you know :) Stiletto 4x12 is a really good match to the Roadster. I would have bought that too if I needed a 4x12 cab.

I'm saying that there is always a possibility that someone totally hates the Roadster cab with their Roadster heads, no matter how unlikely that is. You make it sound as if it is the best cab for Roadster without question. If I could get a Recto cab, I would definitely not wait for three months...

That doesn't mean that everyone would like the cab. You are recommending it a little too eagerly. Recto cabinets are a good example for this. People are often complaining about the low-end it has. But wait...isn't it supposed to be the perfect match for Rectifiers? :)

That's the point. I play John Petrucci style. And I think that F-50 was better than a Recto or anything else. Haven't tried a Mark IV though. Costs too much. :)

I think that F-50 is much better for gain. Bigger sound, kind of a recto but fatter and smoother. But you said it, one man's perspective :)

Can you tell me more about it? Is it better than Horizontal 2x12? I'm really thinking about buying a vertical recto cab.

Hello everyone, new member here :) I'm going to buy a cabinet for my F-50 head soon and could use some tips. I tested a Recto 2x12 Horizontal and it sounded really good but almost too bassy. Notes were super thick. Should I buy a 2x12 Vertical or something else?
