I do, but the files are huge.. I scanned them when I got my amp a few years ago, and the files are TIFF format so they are pretty big. I can put them on my server, but the download is going to be pretty big unless someone has a PDF converter. Anyway, let me know if you would like it.

That's where it's supposed to go right onto the "claw" the has 2 large screws that anchor themselves into the body. I just re-read the post.. I hope he's not talking about the "block" That would need a torch and it moves! LOL

Not true.. You just need a soldering iron with a large mass tip. A radio shack "gun" will not get hot enough. You need a pencil type with a chissel tip like the kind used for stained glass.

The thing with tappers like this, and this is just my personal opinion mind you, is there is so little emotion in what they do.. It all sounds so generic, although I am sure it is very challenging to do properly, it just doesnt do much for me. Thanks for sharing though.. great technique there.

Made when I was 16... it took me 6 attempts to just get a neck to stay straight! it wasn't a bow issue, but more of a twist. I still play her today... although the body has changed a few times. I built the light diffusers too from wood stretcher bars and architectural vellum paper.

Here are two new shots taken this past Sunday... The first guitar is something I made when I was ~16 yrs old. The neck is the same neck made in High School wood shop, but the body has changed twice as I usually end up doing something stupid... Anyway, I constructed the diffusers from wood...

Even if he was using a copy... The copies that are out there are exact replicas of the original except that they are handmade-custom instruments right down to the screws! I remember reading that the guitar he used in videos like "November Rain" was the copy, but I am not 100% positive that...

How many years was this guitar maker thinking the guitar would be up on the wall? 60? Hanging the instrument from the headstock is nothing new. If it were a problem think of every guitar... that has ever been sold... out of every guitar shop... in the world.
