I bought and received a used 5:50. While jamming on it about 5 minutes in, it goes silent. I've swapped out all power and preamp tubes. Cleaned the tube sockets. I can't seem to get V2 tube to light up at all. Will this keep the the amp from working? Thanks for your help

I picked up the 50/100 watt version and did a side-by-side comparison with my blackfaced Fender Twin Reverb. While the Twin has a "in your face" sound, the Lonestar seems to have an almost "surround sound" effect. Anyone else found this to be the case?
