    Thanks for all the advice.... I'm saving for a proper cab at the moment, and maybe I'll pick up some better recording gear and know how on the way. Thanks for the tip about the riff, could've sworn it was a G, Metallica's wall of sound is a tricky ******* to penetrate.

    hey ive gotta question for fellow dual rec 3 channel users, is your output control unresponsive when your on fx loop bypass? Because mine is... when ever i switch it to bypass the amp gets real loud, and i can only control volume on the individual channels master volumes. any idea wats up? is...

    the best model of the dual rec ive ever had was the johnsons dual rectifier stack model on the millienium 150 amp. i can play it side by side with my recto, the tones are very similar. the on ly thing is the johnson doesnt have the presence nob.

    I have a Johnson jm150, and as anyone that owns one knows, the effects on the amp are as good if not better then any stomp box... now heres my idea. I want to take a cable from the send jack of the dual recs fx loop, and plug that into the input of the johnson(its a combo), then take a cable...

    Can I use 5U4GB rectifier tubes in a dual rec? they fit into the sockets, and the only difference is that they are smaller then the regular 5U4G rectifier tubes. Also anyone whos played these tubes is there much difference in tone then the regular 5U4Gs?

    arrgggggggggg i shorted out my crybaby 535q i had unplugged it and taken it to another room and i wasnt paying attention to which adapter i was using and the one that killed it was 4 volts over and the polarity was wrong :oops: any electronics guys know if theres hope of bringing it back?

    Hey everyone, new member here I was just curious about using a bass cab with my dual rectifier? The cab is a 4X12 and the impedance matches up, so other then it sounding meh would there be any danger with this config? thanks
