This is a feature I have been using a lot on all my Mesa's - both for what it does to purity of response, but more importantly, to better understand the core sound of different modes The MKV is the most sensitive and responsive amp I have owned - both wonderful and frustrating at the same time...

Just thought I'd share a small personal triumph in my Mesa journey .. Unlocking the MK1 mode in the V has frustrated me since day one - couldn't dial in a responsive, grainy, on the edge of breakup tone that would love both single or HB pups. It was always TOO something ... mostly bassy, muddy...

Does anyone have experience of both these pedals? I have used an EP in the past - loved what it did to enhance tone, and it looks like the Tone Burst is in the same ballpark, but with more direct access to EQ. Does it offer the same level of transparancy and sparkle as the EP?

Anyone have experience with Groove Tubes 12AX7 Mullards? What do they do to feel and response compared to stock Mesas? More importantly, do they perform well in the Roadster cathode follower slots (V3 and V5 I think)?

I see Mesa released a revised the MK V manual in Sept. Anyone know what the revisions are, or done a comparison with the previous version? Just interested ..
