    Dual Rec. Channel 1 volume?

o.k. so if I set the knob to loop bypass, that makes my clean channel volume good, but it makes the overall volume of the amp screamingly loud. If I set the knob to footswitch, the channel 3 volume is good, but the channel 1 volume disappears. Anything else I should try?

    Dual Rec. Channel 1 volume?

Is the fx on the same knob on the back of the amp as ch1 ch2 ch3 ftswtch? If it is, I believe I have mine set to footswitch. If I move the knob to fx, does the footswitch still function? I've only owned this amp 2 years, I feel kinda silly developing a problem now......

    Dual Rec. Channel 1 volume?

Does anybody else here have to push the living daylights out of channel one to get volume out of it? It's got a great clean sound, but I'm almost maxxed out on the volume and I'm still not getting the volume I should. Channel 2 & 3 volumes are perfect. Anybody give me some pointers?

    Boogies Owners: Rectifier tubes?!?!

I got jj gz34's and I think they totally rock. Go tot he Eurotube site and look around, there's a good description for every tube offered there, so you should be able to find exactly what you're looking for. www.eurotubes.com

    Trouble with my dual rec

I bought a set of the JJ GZ34's for my Dual Rec, and HOLY **** do they sound good! I can't believe the difference in tone: much less sag and a nice crisp treble coming through. I think I'm in love all over again!!! Thanks for the recommendation!!

    Trim pots and dual rec.

So we all know that the dual rec is a set bias amplifier. I just read on the eurotubes website that a dual rec, or any other amp that is a "set-bias" amp, is usually set cold and should have a trim pot installed, which would greatly improve the tone of the amp. Has anyone here heard this before...

    Trouble with my dual rec

Is the jj a specific brand outside of mesa, or is that a mesa manufactured tube?

    Trouble with my dual rec

I noticed the other day that when I switch my dual rec from silicone diode to tube rectifier, I get no sound. is this a common problem, or can someone point me in the right direction to figuring this one out? Thanks!!!

    Just retubed, stunning difference

cool, thanks. I'm anxious to hear the difference. I've tried the mesa 6l6 and el34's and was happy with each in their own way, but like I said, I am always trying improve tone.

    Just retubed, stunning difference

Hey! I'm a newbie, and I have a three channel dual rec. I'm pretty happy with the tone I have now, but I am always looking for ways to improve it. Can you tell me where you got these tubes and the yellow jacket converters and about how much it ran you? Thanks!!!
