    FS: Ibanez Roadstar II RS410

Here is another I'm selling for my move. Ibanez Roadstar II RS410. It is in great condition with a few minor bumps. I believe the stock pickup was either replaced or had the cover removed by the previous owner. Feel free to contact me with any questions or offers. Asking $350 OBO.

    FS: PRS Swamp Ash Special

Another unfortunate sale. This time it's my Swamp Ash Special. Gotta put some more cash into my moving fund. The guitar is in excellent condition. Worst wear on it would be the tarnish on the pickups. Everything is stock and it comes with trem arm and hardcase. I'm asking for $1300 shipped and...

    FS: Parker Nitefly

Looking to sell this USA Parker Nitefly H/S/S guitar. The guitar is in decent overall physical condition. For full disclosure there is a chip that I took a picture of and the piezo system isn't functioning but I have been told is an easy fix. The stock tuners have also been replaced with Planet...

    Mesa Amp Choices

I've been bouncing back and forth between the two amp types for awhile and at the moment I can't claim allegiance to either side at the moment. I have realized that alot of the bands I do enjoy the tones of use EL34 based amps so that is attracting me to the Stiletto some more.

Yeah I wouldn't be concerned with not being able to gig with it really. 5 watt's is pretty loud in my experience and flipping over to the 50w side of things would definitely keep me in the mix volume wise. My only concern with the 5:50 is that it isn't what I want tonally. Maybe with an OD in...

Thanks for chiming in Matt. I've dealt with temperamental amps before that just won't give me the same tone or feel on different days. It's good to at least know that going into a Mark IV so I don't curse myself and have immediate thoughts of scraping the amp. I actually don't mind the fact...

Sorry to hear about your money troubles mate. I hope you get through these rough times with minimal gear loss. Best of luck to you. No worries with the clips mate. If you ever get the time to record some posting would be great but I'm looking to spend quality time with a Stiletto and Mark IV...

I disappeared from the board for awhile to do some testing on my own. I had the opportunity to borrow a Roadster for two weeks. I really love the tones I can get out of this amp and its sheer versatility. Cleans were great and very flexible with all the guitars I ran through it that I had on...

Thanks alot mate. Thanks for responding. As it looks right now I think the Road King II or Roadster would be most satisfying in terms of sheer versatility (unless the Mark V proves otherwise). I've decided to get the Lone Star, Stiletto and Mark V down the line along with a Rectifier series...

Thanks for all the help. Just wondering if the Roadster have in EL34's when this was recorded? Even after considering tube swapping I am on the fence with these amp choices. I'm heading out to another shop this weekend for another round of trials. Right now after considering alot of the...

It's good to find an amp with a master control that can still yield great gain tones with the master set really low. It's even better to find a player who dialed in the amp good and did it justice like you did Rich. I just read the comments on the page and I saw that you said the amps were the...

Thanks a million for posting the clips Rich. The Stiletto tones you get on the first clip were brilliant even at low volumes. Were your running the amp in 50w mode and had the master control low too? The second clip sounded a bit fizzy on the left side with the Stiletto. I would more expect that...

    Mesa Amp Choices

So far I've tested out the Road King and the Lone Star along with some other Orange amps that I was considering. I didn't get to spend alot of time with each because I was on my way home from an out of state gig at the time and there were alot of amps in stock that were on my list and I wanted...

I'm keeping my eyes peeled for any of the older Mark series amps. At the moment I have no one to explain my gear purchases to other than my girlfriend of three years who is really understandable about it. I'll be sure to check into different cab and speaker combos. What is it about the MS=12...

    Mesa Amp Choices

I'm not in any hurry so I'll wait until I can try out a Mark V. With a purchase this big I want to give everything a fair chance. I really want to love the Road King but I need to spend more time with it first. If I can brighten up channels 3 & 4 slightly and coax some slightly british sounding...

My Gemini really responds to how I play really well and I love that. I can crank it and roll back the volume on my guitar and stay clean until I dig in or raise the guitars volume depending on the guitar. Some guitars just want to push the amp more . That being said I didn't pay much...
