well, i did take ibanez4life other post about mixing the recto,,, and i did get rid of all my effects,, and just bought a delay pedal,, but i messed around with the effects in parallel,,, and like i said is was the worst thing in world,, i always heard everybody bitches about the FX loop on...

hey,, i still dont understand parallel loops,,,, it just made my recto sound like mud!!!!!, i called mesa today, and they will tell you how to make the mod to series,, i had my recto loop series mod done when i had my tec guy put new tubes in it. its easy wiring and a simple switch,,

dont know what all effects are out there, but series mod is like night and day!!!! every amp i ever had,, had series loops,,, like i said i dont see the good side at all for the parallel FX,,,,, if you call mesa they tell you how to make the mod,, tony

Dude,,, you should get the mod to switch form parallel to series for the effects loop, its cheap and easy, i still dont understand why mesa has only parallel effects loop?,, i had the rect0 head and traded it for the combo and had the mod done to it, i really dont know much about parallel...

i looked every where to find the extension 1 12 cab for my rect o verb, from e-bay to any web site, does any body know,,, or is even worth getting, i have no idea hoe much it is and where to find one????

no i didn't make the mod,,, but it took the guitar tec like a second to do it,, so it cant be that hard, but wires and I never got along!!!! i'll have to look into the rocktron and see what i can come up with,, thanks

well,,, let me ask you this,, like i said when i hooked up my cab for the show, the sound guy would not even mic the marshall,,, because the 1 12 speaker was so much louder then the 1960, so what if i use the 4 ohm out into the 4 ohm cab, and plug the the the 1 12 into the 4 ohm out????

i made the mod on the FX loop to switch form series,,, and have a rocktron intellifex,, but when i hooked it up to the loop it just is crazzy feed back, and really bad noise, after messing around with it i can get a O.K sound from the rocktron, but not like i did with the rack setup i had...

well,,,, i took the marshall 1960 cab and the rect-o-verb(combo) to the my guitar guy,, he said leave it alone :?: :?: :?: :?: he did put new tubes in it,,, but big deal, he said use the 8 ohm from the rect-o-verb to the 4 ohm mono cab,, and use the 4 ohm for the 1 12 speaker :?: ...
