It was sent with a few pages printed back and front ... no manual. The information is basically very similar to the reissue though. I don't have an electronic copy but I have all of my original paperwork in an envelope from 1978. Anything particular you want to know?

I didn't say it clearly ... what I was trying to say is that many think the power amp should run colder SINCE the pre-amp is higher gain (higher than a Fender for example). So too much gain ... from BOTH power amp and preamp might be too much of a good thing ... becoming a bad thing. But...

Just curious. Sounds like you would not want to adjust the tube bias too high since these amps have pretty hot preamps. But it does sound like balancing adjustments would be a good idea ... rather than depending on tube ranges. Did a search ... didn't find any pics. Anybody got any pics...

It appears to have been the master volume all along! I cleaned all the pots 3 times ... the third time it seemed to be the master volume still doing it. I took it out ... intending to replace today ... but could not find a 1-meg audio pot anywhere. I'm ordering from Acme Guitar Works tonight...
