hey guys, Its been awhile since I have been on here but I would like to know some things about going MIDI. I have my eyes set on the G Major and I was thinking about the Rocktron Midi Mate. I am currently using the mesa boogie roadster which i love to death and a PRS. I want to be able to...

    I have the ROADSTER!

Yeah it was hell expensive. I traded my mode four and cab to bring down the price a bit. I played that for 3-4 years and it was time for a change. It doesn't worry me though cause all the money i'd made from gigs went into this amp. I have always wanted a boogie and the price was very...

    I have the ROADSTER!

Currently i am using the BOLD setting. I'm playing another 2 gigs this week so i'll try spongy and see how that sounds with the band. I'll let you know. Yeah i would love to try that one day especially on the Brit mode and RAW modes. Right now however i'm pretty satisfied with the true recto...

rectoverb 2 + Route 66 pedal... (I had to try it)

I don't have this problem at all. Simply all you need to do is lower the gain on compression side. Best at 11 - 12:00 I usually use sustain on 12:00 - 01:00 Tone 11 Gain 11 - 12:00. Tone control on. This seemed to work well with my marshall but im not sure yet if it will work with the...

rectoverb 2 + Route 66 pedal... (I had to try it)

I have a Route 66 pedal with my Roadster. I havent used it with the amp yet but i'm thinking of using a little bit of compression with it and see how that sounds. yohimbe2, do you use compression with you ROV? If so how does it sound for you?

    I have the ROADSTER!

Well I finally got my roadster and 4x12 trad cab. I cranked it up all day today and i must say i'm pretty impressed. I have found some great tones and couldn't be happier with my purchase. The reason why i bought this amp at the shop was because of the VINTAGE sound but now i have played...

    Experience the Roadster

I didn't notice the popping when i played but when i play it next week i will look out for it. Some people have been saying that if you scroll through the buttons on the footswicth that it goes away. Anyway I think i'll be able to cope with it anyway because playing live would be different. No...

Thanks for the reply guys!! Just excellent. Does anyone here run a dry Overdrive sound in stereo?? What are the benefits of this? Would you get a tighter sound if in mono?

    Stereo guitar

Can someone please explain to me how to run a guitar stereo?? I know the guitar is mono instrument but i know that you can run a guitar in stereo with effects and spread the sound. What do you need in order to run in stereo? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

    Experience the Roadster

That was definitely an option of mine purley because of the stereo thing. But after playing the roadster i just don't think the triaxis could match the recto tones. All i'm really after is a super clean sound, a pushed sound and heavy recto distortion. Thats it!! Everything else is a bonus.

Hey everyone, First time poster long time reader. I have been doing my research on the mesa boogies and i have finally come to the decision on a buying a roadster and a stilleto traditional cab. I tried this combination at the music shop and i was blown away by the sound. WOW!! I have tried...
