Hey everyone, Does anybody have any experience with this guitar? I saw a video demoing it on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T3pOVin4c44 which makes it really look pretty sweet. I just thought I'd see if anyone has a personal knowledge of it. Thanks, Dave

I've never used Cubase but if it has an "input" button on the channel strip you might try making sure it's off because that wuld probably be playing you the clean signal before it hits the plugin.

Hey JDurso, TwoString and Core, you guys all clearly put a lot of time and effort into your own rigs. Personally I'm just saving money for a Roadster (and my current rig is way weak) but I was wondering if maybe you guys could possibly share some clips of your own rigs; hearing great guitar...

I also have a sparkle drive (not modded) and I've found that for my tube amp (single channel no gain fender) it really can overdrive the tubes nicely but you also have a ton of control over it. Also I've used it on solid state amps to tighten up gain channels and it works wonders.

Awesome. How's the construction? I looked them up and didn't see anything about a 2x12 do you have any idea if they might make one? Also I'm going home next week so I'll get in touch with you sometime about checking out your equipment. I'm really excited to play through a quality rig! :D

Eww the Tourmasters are made in China??? That's actually reason enough right there for me to not get it. Even if I hate the prices I like to support American workers and not sweatshop labor... I guess that's a whole 'nother issue though... Anyway thanks for all the feedback!

Any thoughts? I just came across a couple of videos of the the Tourmaster today and it seemed pretty tight. The Egnater Tourmaster 4100 also has 4 channels a bunch of different power level options. I think only 2 modes per channel though, but it's about $600 cheaper. I'd love to hear what...

Ya but the cheapest that I've found them for is about $450. Any thoughts on Randall cabs specifically the G3 series? They're relatively affordable and look solid but I have no experience with them?

I thought only digidesign and some M-audio interfaces worked with Pro Tools. Do you use a different interface or can you record in pro tools with the Firebox?

Does anybody have any experience with this product or with the phonic company in general? Because on paper this mixer looks great for the price given it's firewire capabilities but I don't know anything about Phonic. Thanks Dave

+1 on the 609! I've heard a bunch of different styles recorded with them and they all sounded great! Phyrexia do you have any sound clips you could share cuz i'd like to hear the 609 mixed with a SM57?

That's a vocal mic isn't it? I wouldn't use it on a cab, but honestly as long as you record each mic you use into a separate mono track, you can always just delete one if it sounds like crap and you won't have to worry about messing up the rest of the song. Sennheiser e609s sound really nice...

As a general rule I've found that if you mic on cone the tone will be brighter with more high end and there will be less of that if it's angled a bit. Also the SM57s that I've used have always been kind of bright to begin with.

Hey all, I have a Voodoo Labs Sparkle drive and I think it's amazing but I've been having some trouble with the switch. I'm pretty sure it's a double pull double throw switch. What's happening is sometimes I'll hit it and it'll switch but it'll cut to 1/2 signal and I have to kind of lightly...

I played a DR that had an FJA mod and the clean sounded amazing on it, way better than on stock rectifiers.

Haha ya that's part of what I was curious about (I'm pretty scrawny) but it's definitely cheaper to get the combo then to get a head and a cabinet so are there any other bonuses to going with the head? i.e. is it easier to maintain, change tubes etc.?
