Help needed for recording ...

Hi I received a M-Audio Fast Track Pro and I just set it up but when I plug the guitar I hear the guitar. When I start Cubase I can see the signal and when I open the Guitar Rig 3 Plug-In and push the monitor icon in the Cubase I hear the sound of the guitar with no effect and also the sound of the guitar with the effect .... I can I hear only the guitar-rig sound ?? plz help !!!

I am not familiar with the M-Audio fast Track Pro but there is maybe a button either on that device or in the Guitar Rig software that should allow a mute of the guitar signal. Sorry thats vague but consider this more of a bump until someone more familiar with that particular stuff can get to your post to help you out!

I've never used Cubase but if it has an "input" button on the channel strip you might try making sure it's off because that wuld probably be playing you the clean signal before it hits the plugin.
