I checked this out today and plugged the 4 into a 4 ohm cab. All is good - no fireworks. It's cool, but confusing.

My head only has 2 speaker out jacks - 1 is 8 ohms and the other is 4 ohms.

The 50 cal manual is a little confusing on the speaker outs, so maybe someone can answer my sill question. On the back of the 50 cal, one speaker out is marked 8 ohms while the other one is marked 4 ohms. Does this mean that I can use 1 8 ohm cabinet OR 1 4 ohm cabinet or 2 8 ohm cabinets? I...

Does the parallel to series mod disable the loop output and solo (no longer works)?

The knob controlling the FX on the Dual Rectifier solo says that it can go from 10% to 100%. In a parallel loop, what is the 100%? Is it all wet and no dry (like a series loop) or is it 50/50 wet/dry? Thanx, Pete

I have one and I think it sounds pretty good and I love the savable presets. My other amps are 3 channel Dual Rec, JCM900 and Vetta. I think you should give it a chance.
