k i did that and I just bought tubes from jj and I have blown 3 fuses and there is no diamgram or anything that will tell me which tubes go where...I am about to rip someones head off right now
I am having trouble getting a solid volume out of my clean channel without it becoming to "gainy". I have been using the solo switch to boost it but I would like to be able to get the volume I need without the solo's help....any suggestions?
Ok well I am not sure what the sockets are rated in canada so basically I will be using
Mesaboogie dual recto with a korg tuner, dbx noise surpress, and some delay unit.
Will I be able to plug my amp into the power cond?
To add to this...how do you guys get more volume on your clean channel with out having the gain cranked and the clean being...well not so clean..I am using the solo switch right now but it gets rather akward when you have to change channels.
Ok yeah cooling down but I am saying that right after I turn my amp off I get about a second of the crackling really qiuckly then it just crackles once and awhile cooling down.
Ok well they crackle once I turn the amp off, and I don't think you can turn it off wrong
1) put on standby
2) zero volumes
3) wait a minute or 2
4) turn off amp
Is it normal to hear a sound from the tubes (kinda a crackle) from the back there...I don't think its a problem but I would also like to know the sets you take to turn off your dual rec.
If its going to be longer then 5 mins I shut it off and I let it warm up for 50 seconds (the book says 30 is enough) and then I slowly raise the volume and go to it.
